Second Grade History Fun!

🍎 We had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful group of Mintz second graders to the Sampson County History Museum! It was a joy to have these enthusiastic young visitors explore our museum and learn a little about the history of Sampson County. We love sharing our local history with the next generation and helping keep the past alive! ❤️

Thank you to the students, teachers, and parents for spending part of your day with us. We hope you enjoyed your visit and will come see us again soon!

A Lovely Day of Tea and Tradition

Little Visitors, Big Adventures

The Sampson County Partnership with Children brought a group to tour the museum and then they decorated pumpkins on the museum grounds.

The museum will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Do you love history, meeting people, or just enjoy having something fun to do? The Museum is looking for volunteers. No history degree required—just a willing heart. 📩 Contact us to find out how you can get involved!

The museum will be closed the morning of Fri., Nov. 20 as we are looking forward to hosting 60 first-graders from Clement.

If you have groups of 6 or more please call ahead at 910-590-0007 and leave a message.

Complete the vision.

"Fantastic historical tour. There is a lot more here than initially meets the eye. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our visit. There are many great original artifacts to see and learn about. It's worth taking a detour to visit in my opinion!!"
